About the Role
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking experienced technicians for the PCS (Pump, Scrubber, Chiller) Department. This hands-on role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving equipment, processes, and systems in UV wafer manufacturing, requiring technical skill, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine PM activity on pump exhaust systems and qualify equipment after maintenance.
- Use Standard Operating Procedures to troubleshoot and repair seals found as leakers.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, unit part technicians, and support groups to ensure compliance with quality standards and meet quality goals.
- Conduct exhaust PM, perform Pump Changes, and troubleshoot chillers.
- Demonstrate effective collaboration with FAB Engineering to improve equipment metrics.
- Participate in mechanical assembly and disassembly, daily documentation, and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing.
- Technical knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment.
- Competent and experienced in oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in performing Low Pressure Chemical Vapor Deposition vacuum line issue troubleshooting.
- Must not disclose confidential or proprietary information from previous employers.
