About the Role
Murphy Geospatial – A Woolpert Company is looking for a Junior Land Surveyor to join our Subsurface Engineering Team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work with national clients on exciting projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead surveyor on surveying projects in a field-based role using specialized equipment and technology.
- Work with modern survey methods and devices such as total stations, GPS, and utility surveying equipment.
- Assist the team in undertaking various survey projects.
- Establish survey controls, survey utility marks and features, and topographical features.
- Record survey information.
- Assist with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
- Ensure survey equipment is maintained and well-kept.
- Deliver according to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year's survey experience.
- Physically capable to carry out the role.
- Willing to work around the UK.
- Clean driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Fine attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
