About the Role
This role supports the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) group, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and information for critical US Defense technology. You will gain experience in procurement, production planning, material planning, and material handling, working to determine schedule requirements, identify cost-reduction opportunities, and develop manufacturing build schedules. This internship is part of the LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, offering learning, engagement, application, and progression opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Operate within the realms of procurement, production planning, material planning, material handling, and/or other supply chain disciplines.
- Determine schedule requirements.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Develop manufacturing build schedules.
- Integrate with experienced supply chain professionals and cross-functional teams to solve real-world logistical challenges.
- Participate in the LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, including working on impactful projects, engaging in career development, and networking.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program, in a business or engineering degree.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools.
- Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent team player who is willing to contribute and learn.
