About the Role

We are seeking freelance job coaches (w/m/d) for our AVGS-funded individual coaching sessions in Berlin-Gesundbrunnen. You will support individuals in career orientation and entry into the Berlin training and job market, or in stabilizing employment in care, support, and social professions. You can apply for one or both focus areas, with deployment tailored to your qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual AVGS coaching sessions in career orientation, job entry, and employment stabilization.
Analyze competencies, strengths, career goals, and individual support needs.
Develop realistic career and educational paths or support job entry and onboarding.
Assist with work organization, self-management, communication, and managing professional challenges.
Develop concrete action steps and create individual labor market or stabilization plans.
Identify further support needs and refer to appropriate specialized agencies.
Maintain clear documentation of coaching processes, results, and attendance according to quality standards.
Coordinate appointments with coachees.

Requirements

Relevant university degree or completed vocational training with additional counseling-related qualification, or comparable qualification with proven counseling competence.
Demonstrable experience in professional coaching, individual counseling, or labor market integration.
For career orientation focus: good knowledge of the German, preferably also the Berlin, training and job market, and relevant educational and counseling services.
For employment stabilization focus: knowledge of the care, support, or social sector, and experience in employment support, conflict resolution, or support during professional transitions.
Empathy, intercultural sensitivity, and the ability to guide individuals with diverse language skills and life situations clearly and respectfully.
Independent, structured work style and careful documentation.
Proficient in MS Office and digital coaching tools.
Very good German language skills (written and spoken) at C1 level minimum.
Reliable availability for in-person appointments in Berlin-Gesundbrunnen.
A comprehensive coaching further education, AVGS experience, and experience working with individuals with migration or refugee backgrounds are particularly welcome.
