About the Role
Apple Services Engineering (ASE) builds and supports the systems that make many of our customers' daily experiences possible. iCloud Services SRE teams are responsible for the systems and services that directly support our customers and their experiences. We are looking for passionate and talented Site Reliability Engineers to continue our focus on providing our customers the highest quality Apple Services experience. Responsibilities
- Deeply involved in the entire product delivery lifecycle, ensuring services are always available and just work.
- Operate in a diverse and large-scale environment, thriving on innovative ideas to build robust, automated systems.
- Transform conceptual ideas into tangible solutions, ensuring product seamlessly works for everyone.
- Take on unique challenges of large-scale system operations while working closely with team members.
- Actively contribute to engineering projects aimed at improving service operability and quality.
- Gain invaluable hands-on experience in one of the most dynamic and impactful areas of modern technology.
Requirements
- Coding experience using Java, or Golang.
- Experience with Linux/Unix, Networking, Systems Management, Systems Security.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills
- Kubernetes and container orchestration implementation.
- Managing Distributed Systems / Large Scale Systems Operations.
