About the Role
Refold is automating enterprise integrations using AI. Our agents build, test, deploy, and maintain integration workflows up to 90% faster within customer products. We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to lead technical wins, build prototypes, run POCs, and translate technical concepts for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical win: Lead discovery, demos, and architecture conversations from first call to signature.
- Build the proof: Stand up working prototypes against the customer's actual systems and data.
- Run crisp POCs: Design focused evaluations with explicit success criteria, timelines, and exit conditions.
- Speak both languages: Translate technical details into terms a CTO trusts and a VP of Professional Services can build a business case on.
- Clear security and procurement: Own architecture reviews, security questionnaires, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Hand off clean: Partner with Delivery and Forward Deployed Engineers for a smooth go-live.
- Feed the platform: Surface field gaps and friction to influence the product roadmap.
- Build the SE motion: Develop a demo library, discovery framework, POC playbook, reference architectures, and competitive teardowns.
Requirements
- 5–8 years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting at a SaaS, data, or AI company.
- Hands-on with APIs and data integration.
- Fluent enough in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript to build a working prototype.
- Real experience with enterprise systems of record like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, Dynamics.
- Experience with custom fields, schema mapping, OAuth, retries, idempotency.
- Experience selling to or with product and professional services teams at software companies.
- Ability to hold a CTO's attention, survive a security review, and remain calm during technical issues.
- High ownership in ambiguity; comfortable writing the playbook while running live deals.
