About the Role
This role is a key position within the European Finance Team, focused on driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making. You will provide insightful analysis on costs, profitability, inventory optimization, and business growth drivers, partnering closely with various business teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of standardized financial metrics.
- Track the benefits realized from strategic investments.
- Provide robust reporting and analytics that support growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver insightful analysis on costs, profitability, inventory optimisation and overall business growth drivers.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Strong academic background.
- Experience gained within commercial finance, financial analysis or business partnering roles.
- Proven ability to interrogate large and complex datasets.
- Ability to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
- Ability to translate findings into clear recommendations that drive business performance and influence decision-making.
- Strong technical expertise.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable conducting detailed financial analysis.
- Comfortable presenting insights to senior leaders.
- Ability to constructively challenge thinking to drive the business agenda forward.
- Natural curiosity and strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to look beyond the numbers, ask the right questions, and influence behaviours, actions and strategic outcomes.
