About the Role

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and support qualification tests for aerospace systems, including temperature, thermal shock, icing, vibration, and lightning tests.
- Ensure compliance with qualification requirements according to relevant aviation standards such as DO-160.
- Manage requirements engineering and requirements management throughout the entire development and qualification process.
- Conduct verification and validation activities and document results comprehensibly.
- Create technical reports and presentations in English, communicating technical issues appropriately.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Experience in Qualification Testing and environmental/stress testing in the aviation sector.
- Knowledge of Requirements Engineering, Requirements Management, and Verification & Validation.
- Experience in Systems Engineering and understanding of complex technical interrelationships at the system level.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; German language skills are advantageous.
- Ideally, knowledge in the field of gas turbines or engine technology.
