About the Role
DKB AG is partnering with its sister tech company, Code Factory (CoFa), to build cross-functional teams with an agile and collaborative approach. Employment will be with DKB, offering a blend of banking stability and tech innovation. The role emphasizes collaboration and impact.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of quality assurance across complex system landscapes and continuously develop the testing strategy.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated tests using Java for sustainable test automation.
- Analyze requirements and system architectures to derive test scenarios and ensure quality across system components and interfaces.
- Test the integration of different systems and technologies, focusing on databases and Kafka.
- Ensure test readiness, including test data, environments, tools, and frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, advance continuous testing, and support releases.
- Identify quality risks early, propose solutions, and advance QA and test automation approaches.
Requirements
- Several years of solid professional experience in software quality assurance with independent ownership.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing automated tests.
- Very strong Java skills and proficiency with common test automation tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software and system architectures, including complex system landscapes.
- Solid knowledge of databases and experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Independent, organized, and solution-oriented work style with the ability to quickly learn new topics.
- Confident communication with various stakeholders.
- Very good spoken and written German and English (ideally B2 level and above).
