About the Role

Seeking an experienced professional for our insurance department to handle insurance claims in the real estate sector, focusing on property, casualty, and liability claims. This role involves claim processing, negotiation with insurers, and managing the existing insurance portfolio within an established real estate company.

Responsibilities

• Independent processing and handling of insurance claims in the real estate sector, particularly property, casualty, and liability claims.
• Review and assessment of damage reports and management of claim settlement until completion.
• Communication, coordination, and negotiation with insurers, insurance brokers, property management companies, service providers, and internal departments.
• Research and identification of new insurers and insurance partners for our real estate portfolio.
• Obtaining, reviewing, and comparing insurance offers and participating in the selection of suitable insurance solutions.
• Support, management, and continuous development of the existing insurance portfolio.
• Assisting internal teams with insurance law and insurance-related issues.
• Maintenance and analysis of damage statistics and ensuring structured documentation.
• Participation in the optimization and digitalization of existing insurance and claims processes.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the insurance sector or a comparable commercial qualification.
• Alternatively, relevant professional experience in claims processing or the insurance sector.
• Ideally, experience in the areas of real estate, property damage, casualty, or liability insurance.
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style with a strong quality awareness.
• Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with different issues and develop practical solutions collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
