About the Role
Im Cluster Health begleiten wir Unternehmen und Organisationen aus Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, Digital Health und Krankenversorgung. Wir ordnen technologische, regulatorische und versorgungspolitische Entwicklungen strategisch ein, bewerten politische Dynamiken frühzeitig und entwickeln gemeinsam mit unseren Kund:innen klare Narrative und Positionierungen gegenüber Entscheider:innen in Berlin und Brüssel. Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams suchen wir eine:n Consultant mit Schwerpunkt Health.
Responsibilities
- Work in projects and mandates for clients from Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, Digital Health, and healthcare.
- Analyze health policy and regulatory developments at national and European levels, such as supply reforms, health data usage, reimbursement, approval, or AI in medicine, and develop concrete recommendations for action for our clients.
- Create market, competition, and stakeholder analyses, e.g., for payers, providers, associations, ministries, and EU institutions.
- Develop strategies, positioning, and recommendations for action together with the team and prepare complex content appropriately for the target audience.
- Coordinate project processes, timelines, and approvals, and organize workshops, expert discussions, and events.
- Actively develop our topics at the interface of health and digitalization, e.g., data-based care, new care models, AI applications, digital infrastructure, and interoperability.
- Support clients in classifying complex market, regulatory, and stakeholder dynamics and derive strategic options and recommendations from them.
Requirements
- Completed studies (Bachelor or Master), ideally in Health Economics, Public Health, Economics, Political Science, Natural Sciences, or a technology-related field.
- At least two years of professional experience in consulting, public affairs, politics, or project management, e.g., in healthcare, the life sciences industry, with providers, associations, payers, think tanks, or in the public sector.
- Genuine interest in the economic, political, and regulatory issues of the healthcare system and in the further development of healthcare.
- Understanding of health policy decision-making processes and healthcare structures in Germany and the EU, or the willingness to familiarize yourself quickly.
- Analytical thinking, a structured and solution-oriented approach, and a high standard of quality.
- Proactivity, sense of responsibility, and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Fluent German and very good English, both written and spoken.
