About the Role

Juniper Square is seeking an Institutional Client Transformation Director to act as a strategic transformation partner for sophisticated clients. Based in New York, you will advise client executives on redesigning core business processes and influencing product development to ensure client success on the Juniper Square platform. You will map complex system architectures, redesign investor ecosystem management, and integrate Juniper Square with existing systems, deploying AI agents to streamline operations. As an embedded operational leader, you will own project health from onboarding to maturity, leveraging expertise in change management and business process re-engineering to transform clients into institutional-grade digital powerhouses.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single client-facing leader across onboarding and product teams for assigned accounts.
  • Own successful outcomes throughout multi-year engagements and mobilize internal resources for client success.
  • Partner with client C-Suite, technology leadership, and system architects to map existing systems and design future state architectures with Juniper Square at the center.
  • Own systems and data flow maps and workflow architecture for execution by other teams.
  • Lead the redesign of core client workflows, identifying automation, acceleration, or elimination of manual steps.
  • Bridge client business objectives with Juniper Square's technical execution, ensuring accurate representation of business needs in product conversations and aligning timelines to client goals.
  • Identify workflow automation candidates and define AI agent requirements.
  • Build and execute organizational change strategies within client organizations, managing political and psychological dynamics to drive buy-in and adoption.
  • Own the executive-level narrative for accounts, providing updates on implementation progress, capability delivery, and ROI to client and Juniper Square leadership.
  • Document workflow designs, implementation patterns, and requirement frameworks to enable Juniper Square to serve future Institutional accounts.

Requirements

  • 8-15 years of experience in management consulting, enterprise SaaS implementation, forward-deployed advisory, or digital transformation, with significant experience in financial services or private markets.
  • Working knowledge of private equity or alternative investment operations, including fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, and investor reporting workflows.
  • Experience with AI tooling, including CLI-based interfaces, agent frameworks, or MCP-style integrations.
  • Ability to map complex system landscapes and design workflow architectures for integrating new software into fragmented enterprise environments.
  • Experience translating ambiguous client needs into structured proposals and making ROI-based cases for investment.
  • Strong executive presence, comfortable engaging with C-suite executives.
  • Proven comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions without perfect information.
  • Willingness to be on-site with clients 2-3 days per week.
