About the Role
Rox is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to deeply understand the product, customer needs, and effectively communicate the platform's value. This role involves broad ownership across positioning, product launches, demos, sales enablement, and technical content, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring new capabilities to market and refine product decisions based on customer feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own product launches from understanding to adoption, defining audience, customer problem, positioning, and desired action.
- Develop messaging grounded in Rox's functionality, significance, and impact on revenue teams, ensuring consistency as the product and market evolve.
- Create product demos, video scripts, website copy, presentations, and customer communications, using concrete examples to showcase product value.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to understand capabilities, integrations, APIs, and translate technical details into accessible content for business and technical audiences.
- Develop pitch materials, competitive guidance, use cases, and talk tracks to support the Sales team.
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales to identify customer outcomes, measurable results, and stories to enhance launches and sales materials.
- Translate customer conversations, competitive research, and analyst feedback into recommendations for messaging and product priorities.
- Improve launch processes, content maintenance, and field enablement to enhance quality and speed as Rox scales.
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of relevant experience in product marketing or a closely related role, with meaningful ownership of bringing B2B software products to market.
- A strong generalist capable of working across messaging, launches, content, demos, and enablement, with sound decision-making regarding focus areas.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex ideas, prioritize key information, and omit unnecessary details.
- Technical curiosity and fluency, including the ability to collaborate with engineers on product behavior, understand system connections, and explain implications to customers.
- Demonstrated experience in personally building and shipping work, such as a product launch, demo, webpage, sales narrative, or technical explainer.
- Strong ownership and follow-through, with the ability to take an ambiguous problem, propose an approach, involve relevant stakeholders, and drive it to completion.
- High standards for accuracy, storytelling, and presentation, combined with the judgment to act quickly.
- Comfort working closely with customers and sellers, asking insightful questions, and adapting approaches based on evidence.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for research, creation, and improvement, exercising careful judgment on output quality.
- Experience with enterprise software, AI products, revenue technology, or developer tools is particularly relevant.
- Candidates from solutions engineering, technical content, or similar roles demonstrating strong product marketing judgment and craft are also welcome.
