About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced housekeeping cleaner to join our Environmental Services department. This role will be pivotal in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and will involve cross-training in hospital cleaning and infection prevention and control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in rooms, public areas, and clinical areas.
- Perform thorough cleaning to high standards at all times.
- Cross-train in Hospital cleaning and Infection Prevention and Control procedures.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning roles/housekeeping etc.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Awareness of work health and safety, and safety principles.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and maintain good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australian visa that grants the necessary work rights.
