About the Role
Equinox is seeking Licensed Massage Therapists passionate about helping people maximize their potential. This role involves a multimodal approach to manual therapy and integrating movement science into practice, offering a long-term career with competitive pay, educational opportunities, and a supportive community.
Responsibilities
- Perform 25, 50, 80, and 110-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and Swedish massages.
- Analyze client needs and create programmatic treatment plans.
- Ensure treatment rooms are cleaned after each session and at the end of each shift.
- Maintain compliance with state regulatory boards regarding intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid NY license or certification.
- Ability to generate new business and retain clients by providing treatment programs.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
- In-depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and positive energy.
- Computer literate.
- Ethical conduct.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
