About the Role
Join Slang’s Product team owning multiple product areas or a single company-critical area. Your work will help restaurants operate with AI-driven efficiency and deliver better customer service through natural conversation, directly affecting thousands of restaurant interactions daily. You will be responsible for scoping problems, rethinking flows, untangling edge cases, and advocating for platform investments. This role requires full-stack product leadership, comfortable with ambiguous 0-to-1 discovery and well-scoped execution, moving between customer calls and technical discussions.
Responsibilities
- Own requirements and outcomes for multiple product areas or one company-critical area with minimal oversight, hitting committed company-level milestones.
- Contribute to roadmap planning with data- and prototype-driven recommendations.
- Shape how the broader PM team approaches discovery and prioritization.
- Help shape team-wide rituals like roadmap reviews and planning cadence.
- Coordinate cross-area initiatives with other PMs, resolving competing priorities without escalation.
- Communicate roadmap trade-offs and risk directly to the Head of Product and other executives.
- Collaborate with designers and tech leads to develop and document requirements, design, and technical plans for launch.
- Raise the bar for PM craft on the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning and shipping across varied product surfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to work “full stack”: comfortable moving between 0-to-1 discovery, technical trade-off conversations, and polished execution.
- Experience navigating ambiguity and making prioritization calls with little oversight, including coordinating across other PMs’ areas.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including comfort presenting trade-offs and risk to executive stakeholders.
- Active, hands-on use of AI tools in your daily workflow.
- A track record of helping other PMs get better, even without formal authority.
- Prior experience managing or leading other PMs, even informally (preferred).
- Experience in voice, conversational AI, or another complex, technically dense product domain (preferred).
