About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for the successful project development, including the coordination of complex approval processes in building permit or land-use plan procedures, and the coordination of internal detailed planning and realization of Agri-PV and co-located battery storage systems in Germany. You will be excited by the combination of the latest technology in Agri-PV with innovative agricultural management and the combination of generation plants with battery storage solutions for grid services. We work with numerous universities, colleges, and scientific partners, as well as excellent plant developers and engineers, and have our own research and development center – knowledge transfer for your career is available to you.
Responsibilities
- Project management and coordination of utility-scale Agri-PV and co-located battery storage systems from land acquisition to Ready to Build, i.e., within the scope of land-use planning and building permit procedures, which we handle centrally for own investment projects and customer projects.
- Coordination and management of internal and external planning and technical teams, communication with approval authorities at municipal and district/collective municipality levels.
- Digital project management using our AI-supported project platform, interdisciplinarily with colleagues from DC/AC planning, engineering, and asset management.
- Management and quality control of all external specialist consultants and appraisers, e.g., environmental consultants, land-use planners, civil engineers/architects, etc.
- Ensuring that our projects are successfully realized on schedule and within the planned budget.
- Preparation of key figures, project pipeline, and project plans using digital tools and AI, while being proficient in German and English.
- Reporting and close coordination with the management of project development.
Requirements
- Completed studies in business administration, agricultural economics, geography, environmental management/planning, or a comparable qualification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of common approval procedures (land-use planning, building permit) in various federal states.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Teams, AI applications, such as Claude or similar.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness.
- Enthusiasm for renewable energies, sustainability, and our values.
