About the Role

The Principal Product Manager, Web will translate the vastdata.com roadmap into shipped work and establish product standards for the team. You will be responsible for major site initiatives from conception to launch, including scope, backlog, acceptance criteria, and performance analytics. This role is part of VAST's Website & Digital Experience team during a critical migration from Contentful to Webflow, offering opportunities for faster launches, a new component library, and the implementation of testing and personalization on a modern platform. You will report to the Director of Website and collaborate daily with design, development, and agency partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide final product sign-off for all shipped work.
  • Develop content maps and page briefs for new and redesigned pages.
  • Recommend component usage and reuse in partnership with the Web Experience Design Lead.
  • Maintain authoring templates and page guidance for marketer self-sufficiency in Webflow.
  • Define success metrics for initiatives prior to launch.
  • Report on initiative results using GA4 and web dashboards, focusing on traffic, engagement, and form conversion.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests and personalization on Webflow post-migration.
  • Conduct lightweight user testing on high-traffic and high-intent pages.
  • Triage web requests from various departments including product marketing, demand generation, events, and brand.
  • Communicate status, dates, and changes to stakeholders via Jira and Asana.
  • Own component strategy, including inventory, usage, and build prioritization.
  • Lead evaluations for web stack vendors and tools, from requirements gathering to final recommendation.
  • Act as a backup for the Director of Website regarding roadmap and go/no-go decisions.
  • Coach the team on the operating model, including ticket lifecycle, RACI, and capacity planning.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years in web or digital product management, with experience owning a B2B marketing or corporate website.
  • Hands-on experience shipping products in an agile environment, including writing tickets, defining acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs in Jira.
  • Proficiency with GA4 or similar analytics tools for setting success metrics and reporting.
  • Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and external agencies.
  • Proven track record of leading at least one CMS migration, replatforming, or major site redesign from start to finish.
