About the Role
The Pickle Barrel is hiring a Line Cook to join their team in London. The restaurant chain was founded on the principle of offering high-quality dining experiences at an incredible value, and has since grown to include numerous locations and a diverse menu.
Responsibilities
- Complete line checks to ensure sufficient product preparation for service.
- Ensure outstanding food quality for every dish.
- Plate food according to specifications for a Perfect Dining Experience.
- Perform opening and closing procedures as instructed.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, utensils, and product equipment.
- Control waste and spoilage.
- Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.
- Adhere to all Food Safety policies and procedures.
- Complete Food Safety logs.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Line Cook is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organization, and social skills.
- Energetic, self-confident, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow standards and procedures.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Willingness to assist with prep and dishes as needed.
- Food Safety certified or willing to obtain certification within 3 months.
