About the Role
Partner with the Major Agribusiness Clients (MAC) team to assess financial information and complete credit submissions for MAC clients. This involves evaluating credit profiles, recommending loan structures, and providing joint recommendations for approval.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate credit quality and rating of counterparties through financial analysis and research.
- Complete annual credit reviews in a timely manner, maintaining overdue reviews within risk tolerance levels.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Relationship Analysts to ensure timely actioning of covenants/special conditions.
- Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders and attend client meetings as appropriate.
- Identify customer opportunities in conjunction with relationship managers.
- Participate in projects and assist MAC Management with strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience in a banking environment with exposure to Corporate/Institutional and/or Large Rural clients as a credit analyst, credit approval, or in a relevant capacity.
- Credit, risk, and banking knowledge.
- Strong risk management experience.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relationship management & engagement skills.
- Client-focused with a positive attitude.
- Articulate with strong verbal and written skills.
- Must hold valid work rights.
