About the Role
Operates a backhoe to dig holes and trenches, and to remove and transport earth, gravel, and other materials. This role is crucial for various construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Moves hand and foot levers to control hydraulic shovel.
- Uses shovel to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth and width.
- Removes loosened material and puts it in piles or transports it in trucks.
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
