Working across functions and technologies, you'll build lasting partnerships, deliver value beyond products, and help customers transform ideas into real-world solutions while growing your own career in a global technology organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive supplier-program execution and partner growth by partnering with supplier management teams to help define performance KPIs, then translating those KPIs.
  • Lead the day-to-day rollout of vendor-developed programs, ensuring KPI allocation and accountability across the field team, and building/maintaining strong executive relationships with both partners and vendor leadership.

  • Drive strategy and deliver results by making recommendations to General Manager/Sales Director on strategy and customer plans.
  • Direct value added sales opportunities by implementing supply chain, engineering, supplier, or service excellence strategies.
  • Identify and help achieve sales branch goals, not just team goals.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor sales staff, manage employee performance, and ensure the team is trained and has resources to deliver sales plans.
  • Coach and provide feedback to employees, deliver high potential sales representatives for future management roles, and use managerial courage to make difficult decisions when necessary.
  • Prepare development plans for employees.
  • Enhance manager relationships with key contacts by providing superior service and operation excellence.
  • Implement effective and practiced techniques for solving problems.
  • Effectively communicate with all levels (supplier, customer, vendor).
  • Attend reviews and meetings.
  • Increase management presence at customer accounts to achieve access to decision makers.
  • Act as a leader in the branch, instilling vision and creating enthusiasm to achieve goals.
  • Use data and analysis to make recommendations to the team and management.
  • Responsible for budgeting and planning.
  • Key leader in facilitating implementation of process improvement based on data.
  • Participate in a sales compensation plan where a portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals.
