About the Role
Prepare and coordinate the Nursing staff schedule in the Continuing Care Center.
Responsibilities
- Oversee work hours of associates and coordinate PTO approval with oversight of DON and NM within established guidelines.
- Use basic mathematical skills.
- Solve practical problems and deal with emergency situations.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Effectively gather and disseminate information.
- Proactively resolve problems, recommend, and implement continuous quality improvements.
- Maintain integrity regarding confidential information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in health care field in staff coordination and scheduling.
- Two years current experience in Long-term care.
- Two years (at least) experience in scheduling 24-hour day operation.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and time keeping software (Kronos).
