About the Role
As a legal trainee in Business Tax & Legal, you will advise clients on tax matters and the latest technologies, supporting various teams within Deloitte. This role is the first step on your career ladder at Deloitte, offering the chance to optimize processes, correspond with tax authorities, prepare expert opinions, and advise international clients.
Responsibilities
- Support in identifying tax optimization opportunities for clients and handling individual inquiries across all tax law areas.
- Correspond with tax authorities and advise/support in legal remedy and tax court proceedings.
- Prepare expert opinions and create presentations on selected tax law issues.
- Assist in the ongoing tax support and advice for international clients and in accompanying tax audits.
- Support in the creation of expert opinions, tax returns, and literature research.
Requirements
- Successfully completed the first state examination in law.
- Basic knowledge of tax law, as well as knowledge of general and special commercial and corporate law.
- Experience with MS Office programs.
- Good understanding of holistic entrepreneurial contexts.
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
