About the Role
As a Dishwasher at New Highmark Stadium, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and food preparation areas. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment during exciting live stadium events.
Responsibilities
- Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
- Organizes and properly stores all clean dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Removes garbage and recycling promptly and disposes of waste according to sanitation and safety standards.
- Cleans and maintains kitchen areas, including floors, walls, drains, walk-in coolers, dry storage, and dish areas.
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment to ensure safe and sanitary operating conditions.
- Maintains organization and sanitation of all kitchen and storage spaces.
- Must be flexible to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, for all games and major stadium and catering events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
- Ability to work all venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.
