About the Role

Love's Alternative Energy designs, builds, and maintains renewable and alternative energy infrastructure. This role involves maintaining, adjusting, diagnosing, and inspecting electrical and mechanical equipment at Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), and EV stations.

Responsibilities

Drive a company vehicle to perform daily preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, CNG, RNG, and EV Charging stations.
Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment including compressors, pumps, engines, and other components.
Perform and document daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections.
Comply with all federal, state, local, and company rules and regulations for safe operation around alternative energy stations.
Perform general maintenance of stations, including trash removal, cleaning fueling equipment, and landscape maintenance.
Maintain professional communication with dispatch, peers, management, and other entities.
Follow all company guidelines regarding professional conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School diploma or GED (accredited) required.
Valid Driver’s License and meet state requirements.
Ability to interpret and utilize service software.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to execute mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Offers of employment may be conditioned on receipt of an acceptable background check report and/or drug screen.
Availability to respond to on-call service requests 24/7/365.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, and climb as needed.
Physically able to operate a motorized vehicle, walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, climb, type on a computer keyboard, and use required hand tools.
Willingness to operate under all types of weather conditions.
Required travel as needed.
Required to provide own tools to perform routine maintenance and repairs.

Salary/Compensations

Competitive hourly pay determined upon location and level of experience.
Overtime to be paid starting at 40 hours worked per week.
