About the Role
We are creating something new and looking for Business Analysts to help bring our ideas to life. You will contribute to designing how a new direct insurer operates, from customer experience to the processes, rules, and features that make it happen. You will bridge the gap between policyholders, the business, and technology, helping to move an idea from 'what if?' to reality.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis for complex initiatives impacting multiple processes, systems, or business areas, working autonomously through ambiguity.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, interviews, and process reviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Analyze current and future state processes from feedback, journey data, and member operational data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Define business rules, epics, user stories, and clear, verifiable acceptance criteria in partnership with business owners.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and controls partners to identify requirements early and ensure they are addressed in delivery.
- Promote alignment when stakeholder needs conflict, communicating business intent, recommendations, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Support product owners in defining, refining, and prioritizing the backlog, breaking down initiatives into deliverable features and stories.
- Act as the primary business point of contact for questions, clarifying ambiguity, and assessing the impact of new requests and changes.
- Promptly raise risks, issues, and dependencies, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and decisions.
- Confirm solution alignment to acceptance criteria and business intent; plan and coordinate user acceptance testing.
- Define success metrics and review member and business outcomes post-implementation to confirm expected results.
- Determine impacts to processes, procedures, and roles; support change management, training, and operational readiness.
- Mentor less experienced analysts and contribute to business analysis standards, templates, and continuous improvement.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Over five years of business analysis experience, including in agile delivery contexts with product owners and delivery teams.

- Strong facilitation, analytical reasoning, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira and Confluence, and comfort using AI-assisted tools daily.
