About the Role

The Transcend Logistics Deployment Process Lead will support the successful deployment of the Transcend program by driving logistics process readiness across SAP S/4HANA and associated business processes. The role will work closely with Deployment, Business Process Owners, IT, site teams, and cross-functional partners to translate the global design into executable site processes, identify and resolve gaps, support testing, and prepare the business for implementation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can understand how materials, inventory, transactions, and data move end-to-end, rather than focusing solely on project tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end logistics process design and deployment across SAP EWM / Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Production Logistics, and Transportation Management.
  • Integrate 3PL / external warehouse integration.
  • Review business processes and identify gaps between global design and deployment/site requirements.
  • Trace material and system transactions across Logistics, Source, Make, Quality, and other interconnected processes.
  • Support review and completion of Business Process Structures / BPS, L4 process flows, Business User Stories, Functional design requirements, Key Design Decisions, and FIT/GAP assessments.
  • Translate complex system requirements into clear business-process impacts.
  • Escalate unresolved process or ownership gaps.
  • Support SIT, BST/UAT, and E2E testing preparation and execution.
  • Ensure logistics scenarios adequately represent real business processes.
  • Assist with defect investigation and root-cause assessment.
  • Coordinate with business and technical SMEs to drive defects through resolution.
  • Identify business scenarios and unhappy paths that require additional testing.
  • Work across functional boundaries to understand dependencies.
  • Partner with functional teams to ensure handoffs, system transactions, master data, and material movements align across the E2E solution.
  • Support site readiness assessments.
  • Track logistics deployment risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support SOP/work-instruction impact assessments.
  • Contribute to cutover and hypercare preparation.
  • Help ensure process, system, data, and business readiness are aligned before deployment.

Requirements

  • Experience working within SAP S/4HANA logistics or supply-chain processes.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory processes.
  • Experience with SAP EWM, IM, Production Logistics, or TM.
  • Experience supporting complex system implementations, deployments, or transformations.
  • Ability to understand E2E material and transaction flows.
  • Experience with requirements, testing, defect resolution, or process design.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and drive issues toward resolution.
  • Pharmaceutical, medical device, or life-sciences experience (Preferred).
  • Experience in regulated / GxP environments (Preferred).
  • SAP EWM and S/4 integration experience (Preferred).
  • Experience with manufacturing and MES integration (Preferred).
  • Exposure to 3PL or external warehouse integration (Preferred).
