About the Role
The Sponsorship Marketing Manager owns marketing’s contribution to sponsor revenue across US events, working closely with the HLTH Community Platform and HLTH Europe teams. This role involves building prospect data, running campaigns to generate qualified leads, ensuring fast lead-to-sales handoff, and reporting on marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue. A key aspect is helping sponsors achieve value to encourage rebooking. This position requires daily use of Salesforce and HubSpot, along with significant work in Excel or Google Sheets for data management, pipeline modeling, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Run sponsor and exhibitor (SPEX) lead generation for each US event, including data builds, nurture campaigns, MQL qualification, sales handoff, and reporting.
- Own the sponsor-side ideal customer profiles for each event, tailoring data builds, segments, and messaging.
- Build the SPEX marketing calendar for each event, aligning with prospectus launches, pricing deadlines, new product launches, and floor plan milestones.
- Deliver rebooking campaigns for current sponsors and exhibitors in collaboration with the sales team, both onsite and post-event.
- Execute outbound campaigns targeting competitor-event sponsors, lapsed accounts, and cross-event prospects.
- Re-enrich cold contacts to identify new emails, companies, or decision-makers.
- Build account intelligence and support account-based plays for priority targets with the sales team.
- Own the quality of sponsor data in Salesforce and HubSpot, ensuring accurate lead source, lifecycle stage, and campaign attribution, and resolving duplicates and sync errors.
- Ensure inquiries are directed to the correct team (event sales or Community Platform), pass correctly into Salesforce and HubSpot, and are tracked for speed to lead.
- Build and clean target lists in Excel or Google Sheets from various sources and load them back into Salesforce.
- Align with sales on SPEX funnel definitions to ensure consistent reporting between teams.
- Produce weekly SPEX reports for each event, detailing leads by source, conversion rates, speed to lead, pipeline, and revenue influenced, along with pacing against the previous year.
- Conduct post-event SPEX analysis to identify rebooking trends, churn reasons, and revenue-generating channels, feeding findings into the next cycle.
- Produce the sales toolkit for each event, including prospectus updates, audience reports, case studies, media kits, and sales FAQs.
- Verify attendee data from Swoogo to ensure audience claims align with actual data.
- Manage sponsor comp codes and assist sponsors in promoting their presence and filling onsite activities.
- Collect sponsor results and feedback to support renewal efforts.
- Plan SPEX campaigns across email, social, and paid channels, coordinating with the digital team and agencies.
- Own and maintain sponsorship pages on each event site, ensuring content is current and optimizing conversion through testing and analytics.
- Monitor campaign performance across channels, including cost per lead and cost per opportunity, and adjust budget allocation.
- Manage SPEX marketing spend and specialist agencies against budget and scope.
- Coordinate with HLTH Community Platform and HLTH Europe marketing managers on shared sponsors and prospects to ensure aligned outreach and messaging.
- Ensure webinar and platform sponsors are entered into the correct event marketing campaigns and follow up on potential opportunities.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities between events and the Community Platform's year-round sponsorship products.
- Share sponsor and prospect data across teams to maintain a unified view of each account.
Requirements

- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, cleaning and deduplicating large lists, and building understandable models.
- Experience with list building and enrichment tools such as ZoomInfo or Clay.
- A track record of successful data builds, nurture campaigns, MQL definitions, and sales handoffs, with reporting demonstrating conversion rates, cost per lead, and pipeline generation.
- Working knowledge of privacy and email marketing data regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and US state laws like CCPA.
- Clear B2B writing skills across email, web, LinkedIn, and outbound communications.
- Experience briefing creative teams, agencies, or freelancers and managing projects to deadline.
