About the Role

At ULAC, the Inventory & Procurement Assistant supports inventory management and procurement operations by coordinating production orders, maintaining inventory reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy, supporting production buy approvals, managing inventory processes, and ensuring accurate product setup and coding to help drive efficient business operations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Sales team on production placement against prebooked and projected orders for ad hoc and seasonal buys.
Prepare weekly inventory reports.
Prepare end-of-month close reports generated from the ERP system.
Assist in managing the approval process of all production buys.
Assist in managing slow-moving and discontinued inventory processes.
Assist in monitoring weekly inventory reports and merchandise style coding to ensure all inventory is accurately coded and appearing on the correct inventory reports.
Manage label code assignments for customer-specific requests.
Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company's needs and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced Excel) and database systems.
Strong business judgement and sense of urgency; ability to work independently under critical time frames and on multiple assignments.
Excellent written and verbal skills for communication and report creation.
Strong attention to detail to notice inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory counts.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and draw valid conclusions with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to be extremely flexible and adaptable in completing a diverse range of assignments in a timely manner.
Ability to prioritize projects and workload.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the department and company.
