About the Role

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive inspections and reconditioning of used vehicle inventory
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, suspension, steering, braking, HVAC, and drivability concerns
Complete maintenance services to prepare vehicles for frontline sale
Identify and document repair recommendations according to dealership standards
Perform quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and appearance requirements
Work efficiently to meet internal production and turnaround goals
Utilize service information systems, scan tools, and electronic repair resources
Collaborate with service, parts, and used vehicle departments to ensure timely completion of work
Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation

Requirements

3+ years of automotive repair experience
Additional experience in agricultural, construction, marine, or commercial vehicle repair welcomed
Familiarity in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing engines, electrical systems, and transmissions
New York State Inspection License
Up-to-date ASE Certifications
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
Must be able to work Saturdays
