About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you will develop data science and AI solutions that contribute to Vattenfall's Business to Consumer ambitions, supporting both sustainable customer solutions and business value. You will solve complex business challenges using data and machine learning, contributing throughout the journey from exploring the business problem to implementing models on the Analytics Platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop data science solutions from idea to implementation, using machine learning and Generative AI to solve business challenges and create measurable value.
- Build and evaluate reliable AI and machine-learning solutions, testing their quality and robustness and taking privacy, bias and human oversight into account.
- Write production-quality, reusable and testable code, applying practices such as Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD.
- Work closely with Data & ML Engineers to make solutions reproducible and support their deployment, versioning and monitoring.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and colleagues across disciplines, translating complex approaches and results into clear insights and continuously improving solutions based on feedback.
Requirements
- You have an academic degree with a strong quantitative component, such as Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics or a comparable field.
- You have professional work experience as a Data Scientist or in a closely comparable Data Science role and have applied machine-learning methods to real-world problems.
- You communicate clearly in written and spoken English; Dutch is a plus.
- You are comfortable working in an agile environment.

- €4,862 to €6,077 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance, based on 38 hours per week
