About the Role
Bevado is seeking a Head of Content with a strong focus on video creation to transform software, product ideas, and customer problems into engaging videos. This role involves reporting to the Head of Growth and collaborating with founders on content planning, production, publishing, and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Own video production from idea to finished asset, including research, concepts, hooks, scripts, filming, editing, captions, and publishing.
- Create short-form videos and ad creative for Meta and Instagram, plus short-form and long-form YouTube content.
- Help build founders' presence on LinkedIn through video and written content.
- Make product demos, launch videos, and software explainers.
- Plan the content calendar, test original formats, and improve creative using audience feedback and performance data.
- Contribute to product marketing and special projects, including landing page copy and design, lifecycle campaigns, and broader brand initiatives.
- Utilize AI tools to accelerate research, production, and iteration.
Requirements
- A strong video portfolio demonstrating polished, engaging content and the ability to explain creative choices.
- Demonstrated passion for making videos, editing, and experimenting with content in personal time.
- Good instincts for hooks, storytelling, pacing, sound, captions, and visual presentation.
- Ability to take an idea and execute it into a finished video with ownership and initiative.
- Clear written and spoken English.
- Curiosity about software and AI.
- Interest in understanding the product and its users.
- Comfort working closely with a small team, accepting feedback, and trying new approaches.
- Experience building an audience through content production for a personal brand, company, internship, or side project is a strong bonus.
- Ability to provide examples of work that earned attention, engagement, or audience growth, with explanations of personal contributions.
