About the Role
The Business Transformation team leads Sky’s most significant and complex transformations, partnering with senior leaders to turn bold strategic intent into real-world impact and shaping a range of programmes. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive organisational change at scale, influence across boundaries, and lead programmes that will define Sky’s next chapter.
Responsibilities
- Shape and develop strategic recommendations grounded in commercial and financial analysis, converting them into clear, actionable delivery plans.
- Lead end-to-end design and delivery of large, complex, multi-functional transformation programmes.
- Drive and take accountability for programmes through all stages of the lifecycle, leading teams from across the business.
- Provide challenge and offer alternative solutions using experience from within and outside Sky.
- Drive clarity where ambiguity exists, aligning diverse stakeholder groups.
- Implement governance and reporting structures, delivering updates to senior executives.
- Own and evolve the E2E plan, ensuring alignment across strategic intent, delivery outcomes, and future-state operating model.
- Facilitate change management, operating model design, or process improvement depending on programme needs.
Requirements
- Substantial experience leading cross-functional business transformation within large complex organisations, including programme leadership, change management or operating model design.
- Significant experience setting strategy and leading large-scale, cross-functional transformation programmes, ideally with direct involvement in operating model design and implementation.
- Considerable experience managing senior executives and leaders, managing competing priorities alongside ambitious expectations.
- Experience developing clear, insight or financially led strategies and a track record of driving those strategies through to successful implementation in complex organisations.
- Vision, drive, diplomacy and the ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity, complexity and multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to influence others in the absence of any direct authority.
- Strong communication and listening skills at all levels, able to translate messages in a straightforward and simple manner.
- Ability to build effective and trusted relationships and collaborate with a range of individuals at all levels in the organisation.
- Appropriate right to work in the UK.
