About the Role
Black Forest Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to facilitate the adoption of our models among a growing customer base and collaborate with them to address complex technical challenges. This role is an integral part of our Go-To-Market team, driving the successful deployment of BFL models by working hand-in-hand with customers from pre-sale to post-implementation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate strategically with the Sales team to enhance the technical aspects of the sales process.
- Onboard customers on our suite of models, providing guidance on prompting, evaluation, and finetuning.
- Ensure the best production integration with back-end and front-end interfaces.
- Craft compelling technical demonstrations that clearly communicate product value.
- Guide and support customers in deploying models into production use cases with considerable business impact.
- Collaborate with the BD team, researchers, and other engineers on complex customer projects.
- Contribute to open-source codebases for tasks such as inference and finetuning.
- Participate in pre-sales calls to understand potential clients' needs, challenges, and aspirations.
- Provide technical guidance on products and explain BFL technologies to various stakeholders.
- Create technical enablement resources to amplify sales team effectiveness and technical fluency.
- Build self-service tools and documentation to empower customers to implement solutions independently.
- Collaborate with Applied Research to continuously improve product and model capabilities based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Passionate about AI, technology, and BFL models.
- Enjoy working directly with customers, iterating on solutions, and providing tailored support.
- Strong technical background to help customers architect integration between our solutions and their existing solutions.
- Strong technical coding skills in Python.
- Deep understanding of software development, software architecture, and common integration patterns.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
