About the Role
As Local Third Party (3P) Manager, you will own the day-to-day relationship and performance of the third party logistics providers (3PLs) that keep Voi's fleet moving across London. This is a brand-new, hands-on role where you will help shape how Voi works with its 3PLs as London grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead regular conversations with each 3PL to align on performance, issues and key improvement actions, tracking progress and escalating where necessary.
- Manage daily 3PL requests and communicate software and process changes to partners.
- Review partner forecasted workload and agree on plans to meet demand with adequate resources.
- Contribute to full-year planning and monthly forecasting of 3PL capacity.
- Audit 3PL locations against health & safety standards and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Review 3PL invoices to ensure payments align with delivered work, applying penalties or bonuses.
- Onboard and train new 3PLs on processes, tools, quality standards, and H&S requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years in logistics, operations, mobility, or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience with 3PL partners or supplier management.
- Experience managing stakeholders and working cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Strong project management skills and end-to-end ownership.
- Experience tracking, reading, and reporting on KPIs.
- Curiosity about new technology and AI, and confidence using digital tools.
- A Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
