About the Role

Socure is hiring a Market Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities through thoughtful, relevant outbound efforts. You will collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to research accounts, identify buyers, and initiate conversations that lead to qualified pipeline. This role is for curious, resourceful individuals who leverage AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to enhance their work.

Responsibilities

Own prospecting and follow-up across assigned focus accounts, partnering with your sales and marketing pod.
Engage prospects through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, events, and warm introductions.
Use generative AI tools to research accounts, prepare call plans, personalize outreach, and improve follow-up.
Turn relevant signals into timely conversations.
Adapt approved messaging to each prospect’s role, industry, and business priorities.
Qualify interest, uncover business needs, and book meetings with clear context and next steps for Account Executives.
Execute outreach before and after conferences, webinars, and executive events.
Keep Salesforce records accurate and share prospect feedback, objections, and campaign results with your team.
Test new approaches and share effective prompts and workflows that help the team improve.

Requirements

Experience in outbound sales, sales development, business development, or a similar role creating customer conversations.
Hands-on experience using generative AI for practical work, including providing context, refining prompts, checking facts, and improving results.
Clear, concise writing and confidence speaking with prospects by phone.
Good judgment regarding outreach relevance and prospect pursuit.
Strong organization, consistent follow-through, and ownership of results.
Curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to apply coaching and learn new tools.
Care for accuracy and customer trust, including reviewing AI-generated content and using company information appropriately.
Ability to walk through an example of using AI for research, message improvement, or task simplification, detailing input, changes, and verification.
