About the Role

This is a 16-month internship position focused on Supply Chain support within a global technology company. The role involves performing data analytics, compiling and reporting on trends, and facilitating requests between supply chain teams. Work is guided by detailed instructions and performed under close supervision, with opportunities for increased autonomy as proficiency is gained.

Responsibilities

Perform data analytics
Compile, analyze and report on commitments, data trends and performance metrics
Work with business and IT teams to develop, test and maintain various supply chain applications
Facilitate requests between supply chain buying teams and Commodity Management
Work with external suppliers on supply chain business requirements
Create presentations and reports using Excel, Access, Power BI & PowerPoint
Interact with colleagues and suppliers globally
Fulfill requirements of University or College Internship program in a Support function whereby the duties are categorized as "Indirect" labour.
Duties fulfill the requirements of the specific internship program.

Requirements

Enrolled in a formal University or college Internship program.
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively and independently
Flexibility to work extended hours as required
Currently enrolled in an official university or college internship program focused on Computer Science or Engineering.
Employment offer is conditional upon the successful completion of a security assessment by Celestica and/or its authorized agents, per the Controlled Goods Regulations.

Skills

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
Understanding of SQL & Power BI an asset
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent report writing and problem solving skills
Interest / knowledge in manufacturing, procurement and electronics industry
