About the Role

Mastercard is seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Manager to help execute the SME Europe strategy. This role will act as a central coordination and enablement point, creating a consistent operating rhythm, clear management information, scalable sales enablement, and effective engagement across European markets.

Responsibilities

  • Run the SME Europe operating rhythm, including leadership updates, business reviews, forums, divisional reviews and QBRs.
  • Own executive reporting across performance, pipeline, financials, risks, dependencies and strategic asks.
  • Coordinate execution of SME priorities across markets, divisions and functions, ensuring follow-through on key actions.
  • Drive sales enablement through training, best-practice sharing, case studies, demos and reusable customer materials.
  • Maintain SME knowledge resources, ensuring the SME Hub and related content remain current, accessible and scalable.
  • Improve Salesforce and pipeline discipline by strengthening data quality, reporting consistency and opportunity visibility.
  • Support divisional engagement, customer workshops, events and RFPs by helping teams leverage existing SME insights and materials.
  • Partner with Marketing, Communications, Sales, Product and divisional teams to amplify priorities, reduce duplication and accelerate execution.

Requirements

  • Experience in business management, strategy execution, sales enablement, programme management or a similar cross-functional role, ideally in payments, financial services, technology or a complex international organisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect strategy, pipeline, customer activity and business outcomes.
  • Able to influence senior leaders and geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and storytelling skills, translating data into clear recommendations.
  • Excellent executive communication skills and experience creating concise, high-quality senior materials.
  • Highly organised and execution-focused, comfortable managing recurring deliverables, competing priorities and ad-hoc requests.
  • Experience developing sales enablement, training, knowledge-management or customer-facing content would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SMEs, payments, commercial solutions or B2B financial services would be beneficial.
  • Connect priorities to practical execution and measurable outcomes.
  • Turn performance, pipeline and market data into actionable insights.
  • Focus activity on customer, sales and business value.
  • Build alignment and drive action across senior stakeholders and teams.
  • Simplify complexity into clear, executive-ready narratives.
  • Bring structure, pace and accountability to competing priorities.
  • Act as a trusted connector across SME Europe.
  • Simplify, standardise and scale ways of working.
  • Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;
  • Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and
  • Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
