About the Role
Carrier Corporation’s Air Management Systems group is seeking a qualified student for a full-time summer 2027 internship. This role offers the opportunity to work with engineers on advanced fan technologies, gaining experience in computational fluid dynamics, machine learning, and experimental testing.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of fan technologies using computational- and laboratory-based methods.
- Apply machine learning/AI to engineering data sets.
- Develop practical engineering skills while seeing a primary project to completion.
- Summarize progress and findings in weekly meetings and in a final report to management.
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
