About the Role
The Security Platform Engineer will join a growing security platform team working in an agile environment. This role requires the technical ability to plan, deploy, and manage a diverse range of security technologies that monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage existing security technologies such as CrowdStrike, Netskope, and Semperis.
- Work on security initiatives and enterprise-level projects, performing proof of technology/concept asks.
- Implement new security controls and capabilities into existing technologies.
- Deploy, support, and maintain new security technologies and platforms.
- Be part of a 24x7 on-call support team and join major incident management calls for support and consultation.
- Continuously improve operational and security platform process activities.
- Transition and operationalize projects, including developing RACI documents and educating BAU teams.
- Document, update, and maintain cyber security playbooks, policies, and knowledge base articles.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in information technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the information security field.
- An Information Technology University degree/college diploma in related discipline(s) or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
- 3+ years in security IT industry experience.
- Experience with Endpoint Security Solution such as CrowdStrike, Netskope, Semperis.
- Experience designing secure networks and endpoint systems.
- Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
- Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems.
- Reliability Security Clearance required.
