About the Role
Join a fast-growing, venture-backed technology company as a Senior Backend Engineer. Develop an advanced AI-powered data platform that extracts insights from complex datasets and enhances customer engagement. Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and distributed systems.
- Build high-performance APIs and data-processing infrastructure.
- Develop AI-powered functionality using LLMs, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
- Optimize database performance, reliability, and system scalability.
- Build and maintain integrations with external platforms and services.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements, system architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate closely with leadership on technical strategy and product development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, API development, and scalable infrastructure.
- Experience with vector databases and RAG-based applications.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar infrastructure technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with LLMs, Python, or machine learning.
- Background in SaaS, e-commerce, or data-intensive applications.
- Previous experience in an early-stage startup.
