About the Role
Seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI machines efficiently, ensure patient comfort, and coordinate with physicians for timely results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods are required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
- Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
- Insert IVs when necessary for the test
- Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
- Perform patient care tasks as needed
Requirements
- Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology
- Must have GE scanner experience
- Must have injection certification
- Must be willing to obtain NYS Rad Tech license after starting
Skills
- Operate MRI machine efficiently
- Make patients feel comfortable before and during scanning
- Coordinate with patient's physician
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Ability to stand for extended periods

Salary/Compensations
- Gross Weekly : $3912 for 40 hours
- W2 taxable : $60/hr
- Non Taxable Stipend : $1512/week
