About the Role
Crestron Electronics is seeking an Engraver to operate laser marking equipment, producing precision marked buttons and bezels. This role involves maintaining quality, productivity, and a clean work area in a high-energy production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate laser marking equipment for customer sales and production work orders.
- Produce precision laser marked buttons and bezels in various sizes and colors.
- Maintain a neat work area, acceptable productivity levels, and consistent quality.
- Report any quality or workmanship issues to the lead supervisor or manager.
- Handle own materials per custom order requirements.
- Verify work order readiness for smooth transitions.
- Perform quality inspection of materials, including color and quantity checks.
- Engage in quality inspection, small button assembly, packaging, and processing of custom orders.
Requirements
- Must be able to work overtime when warranted.
- Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to operate and maneuver materials with various weight limits with assistance.
Skills
- Skills to distinguish subtle differences in color.
- Organized and detailed oriented.
- Basic PC skills.
