About the Role
The Senior Associate Director is a leader responsible for the performance and management of an operations team and client relationships. This role manages daily operations to ensure service level agreements are met and quality is maintained, acting as a manager of people and an effective team builder. This position requires extensive technical knowledge of loan operations, documentation, and accounting, serving as the final review for sensitive deliverables and a point of escalation. The role involves significant client communication and representation of the brand.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations to ensure SLAs are met in an efficient manner
- Perform reviews on setups and credit agreements, or any other deliverables, for the operations team
- Manage client relationships and be a point of escalation
- Manage ad hoc client requests to ensure completion
- Be a leader in efficiency changes, embrace any technology updates and strive for continuous better working practices
- Champion quality and continuous improvement
- Participate in new service development and support new service rollouts
- Participate in and manage projects to enhance the overall service offering
- Support and uphold a culture of control and compliance with company policy
- Collaboration with internal operations groups, across multiple departments, to drive results
- Management of personnel, including ongoing feedback, performance management, and recruitment
Requirements
- University or College business degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in management
- Minimum 8 years’ working experience in fund administration or relevant financial services in private credit
- Relevant designation in accounting, finance, or management is an asset
