About the Role

This role supports the Director of Housekeeping by managing guest requests, room statuses, and daily operational tasks to ensure consistent, professional, and engaging service.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offers professional, engaging, and friendly service.
• Standing and walking throughout the day.
• Linen Clerk duties assigned.
• Answering phones in a courteous, professional manner.
• Computer knowledge.
• Printing daily reports.
• Opening and closing Royal Service Tickets (guest requests and needs).
• Dispatching queue rooms, changing room statuses, and placing rooms out of order.
• Update White Board Numbers.
• Verify Out of Services.
• Create Task Sheets.
• Verify Overnight Laundry is Delivered.
• Send Show-Room Email.
• Prepare Fairmont Fits.
• Prepare Schedule for the Following Day.
• Constantly update the Housekeeping Call Log.
• Schedule reviews.
• Updates changes to schedule as necessary based on business needs.
• Daily preparation of room attendant boards.

Requirements

• Previous experience is an asset.
• Opera knowledge and experience is required.
• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
