About the Role
Lead the technical development of Quantexa-based solutions, bringing deep hands-on capability in data ingestion, transformation, and contextual data modelling. Collaborate closely with Quantexa Architects, Tech Leads, and client stakeholders to deliver solutions that address complex business challenges. Design and implement robust data pipelines, configure Quantexa components, and support the overall success of client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimisation of data ingestion pipelines and transformations within the Quantexa platform using Apache Spark and Scala.
- Configure and implement Quantexa components, including Entity Resolution, Scoring and Network Generation, to support defined client use cases.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and Solution Architects to design scalable, performant Quantexa solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into efficient, production-ready data engineering solutions.
- Support the integration of Quantexa into broader enterprise data architectures, working closely with cloud, security and DevOps teams.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and contribute to high-quality delivery across complex engagements.
Requirements
- Quantexa Technical Certification is required.
- Demonstrable experience leading client data engineering or integration projects for major clients.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing Quantexa solutions for clients, including data ingestion, transformation and contextual data modelling.
- Strong technical capability in Scala, Python and Databricks, with practical experience using Apache Spark.
- Experience collaborating with technical leads, architects and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Experience delivering Quantexa solutions in financial services, fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML) or know your customer (KYC) environments would be valuable.
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps; Docker or Kubernetes; and data governance, quality and security standards would be advantageous.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data engineering or a related technical field would also be beneficial.
