About the Role
Borough Kitchen is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Temporary Christmas Sales Associates for its Chiswick team during the festive season. Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer experiences through attentive and knowledgeable service.
- Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products.
- Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Replenish stock and maintain a well-presented shop floor.
- Support merchandising, displays, and store standards.
- Process purchases, arrange deliveries, and handle after-sales inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to upsell complementary products and services.
- Collaborate with colleagues for smooth store operations, especially during peak times.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for food, cooking, and entertaining.
- Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment and as part of a team.
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be available to work during the Christmas trading period, including weekends leading up to Christmas, Christmas Eve, and Boxing Day.
- Flexibility to work additional shifts during peak trading periods is highly desirable.
