About the Role
Five Iron blends world-class technology with hospitality-driven service across its sports bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. We are seeking a Guest Services Expert (Head Golf Attendant) to assist the General Manager of Performance in overseeing and managing golf operations, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and genuine hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager of Performance in managing facility operations.
- Provide exceptional service to Guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Open the location in the mornings and weekends to facilitate golf operations.
- Ensure golf simulators are maintained and adhere to quality control processes.
- Build community relationships, foster customer loyalty, and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain and organize golf bag storage and all golf equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and business lines to meet sales targets.
- Build the membership community through events and engagement with golf associations and courses.
- Actively check in with Guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food and beverage offerings and deliver premium service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness.
- Verify guests' legal drinking age.
Requirements
- Passion for the game of golf.
- Hospitality, hotel, golf course/club, or sports management experience preferred.
- Exemplary communication, time management, and organization skills.
- Upbeat energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to think on your feet and manage customer expectations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work primarily mornings/afternoons, including weekends/holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods and maneuver stairs.
