About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media & Brand Manager to lead our UK social media activity and manage selected aspects of the UK brand. This hands-on role focuses on B2B social content, drawing inspiration from B2C brands, and translating research, campaigns, and expertise into compelling stories for UK HR audiences. You will collaborate with marketing teams and agencies, combining creative thinking with organized delivery. Alongside social media, you will manage brand aspects, provide guidance on brand consistency, develop an online reputation framework, and coordinate co-marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UK social media strategy and execution, focusing on LinkedIn and aligning with global direction.
  • Own the UK social content calendar, creating and coordinating content for campaigns, research, events, and business priorities.
  • Develop B2B social presence with a B2C-inspired creative approach, creating attention-grabbing content.
  • Collaborate with videographers, designers, and marketing colleagues to produce engaging social content.
  • Build and manage relationships with relevant B2B influencers and industry voices.
  • Manage UK community engagement and employee advocacy.
  • Develop and deliver influencer collaborations to extend reach.
  • Create and maintain an internal marketing brand hub with guidance and resources.
  • Support colleagues in using brand guidance and assets.
  • Take strategic ownership of review platforms, developing a proactive review-generation approach.
  • Establish processes for managing day-to-day review responses and escalating issues.
  • Execute co-marketing activities with existing partners, such as webinars and eBooks.
  • Work with the wider UK marketing team to deliver consistent, locally relevant activity.
  • Collaborate with the global social team to ensure UK content aligns with global direction.
  • Track and report on performance, using insights to improve activity.
  • Stay informed about social trends, platform developments, and audience interests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading social media strategy and hands-on content creation, particularly for LinkedIn and business audiences.
  • Strong creative instinct with the ability to apply consumer marketing inspiration to a B2B audience.
  • Experience briefing and collaborating with videographers and designers.
  • Some experience supporting brand activity, such as applying brand guidelines, developing internal resources, or managing online reputation, is an advantage.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating contributors, approvals, and deadlines.
  • Responsive, adaptable approach, balancing planned activity and time-sensitive requests.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and colleagues across local and global teams.
  • Ability to interpret performance data and use it to improve results.
